Do you sell any second-hand models ?The BikeBoats being relatively new in Europe, it is rare that we have second-hand models available. You may however contact us and we will gladly come back to you once available.

How to pay online ?You can pay directly by credit card on the website.

What is the warranty ?Our BikeBoats have a manufacturer warranty policy of 12 months. If you are a EU resident, you are even covered by a European warranty of conformity of 2 years.

Are there other models?Water bikes are homologated as water crafts – like pedalos, rowboats, kayaks or SUPs. Like those, it is the rider’s responsibility to enquire about local legislation and any applicable safety gear.

What colors are available?The frame is black anodized aluminum. The PVC floats are in red and also available on request in yellow.

Aquibike, WaterBike, BikeBoat what are the differences?Waterbike is considered the generic term defining a bicycle that pedals on water. BikeBoat is the name of the model built by the Brazilian manufacturer Chiliboats. Aqui Bikes is the importer company of Chiliboats.

How hard is it to inflate the hulls ?The standard hulls have a volume of 140 liters each. Recommended pressure is 5 psi (340 mbar) – 3 or 4 times less than a SUP. It is then very fast and easy to inflate them, with a hand pump or an electric one.

Will the hulls be punctured often?It is unlikely because our hulls are resistant to abrasion and touch land only when water launching. However, like for a zodiac or an inflatable canoe, an accidental risks exists.

How about maintenance ?Like all water crafts, it is recommended to be rinsed after used in saltwater. The propulsive system needs to be lubrificated every year or 200 hours of use.

Does it come with a pump ?Yes, the BikeBoat is delivered with a compact double-action pump that fits in the carry bag and can inflate the 2 hulls in 5 minutes. Yet if you prefer the comfort of an electric pump, please contact us and we’ll come back to you with the option.

How fast is that ?Maximal speed is between 10 to 16 km/h depending your fitness level, weight, navigation conditions….

Maximal speed is between 10 to 16 km/h depending your fitness level, weight, navigation conditions…. How stable is that ?Very ! To make it simple, it’s stable as a small boat, and more stable than a kayak or a SUP for example.

Can we ride backwards ?Yes, simply by reverse pedalling.

Can we pedal bare-feet ?Yes our pedals are designed to be used both with bare-feet or shoes.

Is that suitable for kids ?That depends on the legs lenght, but usually kids have to be >130cm to pedal

Are there gears ?No. Unlike roads, there are no hills on waters. The BikeBoat was designed to reach an optimal speed with an average pedalling pace.
